When going into battle, every Roman soldier would have wanted the Republican Scutum. With its large size and authentic design, this shield provided superior rotection as it covered the entire body, including the torso and legs. Made by Deepeeka, this historically accurate recreation is made from durable hardwoond and has arectangular shape with rounded edges. It also features a traditional Roman red and yellow color scheme and measures 50 inches tall and 34 inches wide. The shied also provides flexibility as it can be positioned vertically or horizontally. This is truly an exquisite piece perfect for any Roman legionary ensemble and for collectors and display. The shield has a wooden horizontal grip on its back.
