These Gambeson Arming Mittens are padded gauntlets which are constructed from robust cotton; the quilted construction is padded on the inside with 85% cotton material and 15% miscellaneous fibers. The underside of the hands are stitched panels of high quality leather for a supple and sure grip. These padded gauntlets are an excellent compromise between padding and general flexibility. They can be used on their own or they can be paired with steel plate clamshell gauntlets to create a complete and layered hand protection.
