What started as a simple cap for young children and women, turned into a valuable accessory for the hard-working soldier. You have likely noticed in movies and on television that many knights and men-at-arms are depicted wearing these.
Not only is our Padded Coif the perfect accessory to complete the look of you medievalist garb, it will increase your level of comfort when wearing a helmet or mail; it is much softer on your head and will provide a better fit. This Padded Coif has been made from a heavy pale green cotton fabric. You will notice it generously covers the neck and ties in the front. Hand wash only please and hang to dry. Order S/M or L/XL.
