The Gauntlete Pair (New) made by Deepeeka is an accurate replica ornate based off historical research and authentic in its design. Gauntlets were typically used by soldiers and knights. They were an essential part of a full armour suit by protecting the hands and arms in hand-to-hand combats. The inside of our gauntlets include leather for comfortable use. These 15th Century gauntlets are constructed with a plate armor shell of 18 gauge steel and an inner gauntlet of suede leather. The suede leather interior is fitted to the plate gauntlet shell and is not removable. The inside of the plates are blackened.
A palm strap and an adjustable wrist strap of leather with a brass buckle fit the gauntlet to the hand.
