One of the first forms of plate armor in the medieval period was leg armor that covers the knee, called "poleyns," which are attached to chain mail ?chausses? that extend down the leg. Our medieval leg armor is master crafted by Darksword Armoury as a detailed reproduction of actual armor worn by warriors in the 13th century. It is finely detailed for excellent fit and superior protection at your re-enactment events.
