The Medieval Italian 15th Century Poleyns Leg Armors are modeled after one of the first types of plate armor that surfaced during the Middle Ages. Protecting the knee, poleyns were usually attached to chainmail armor and proved to be quite effective. Featuring 16 gauge steel construction, these poleyns come with greaves and are comprised of large and small rounded surface that help deflect enemies' blows.
