When Pope Innocent III initiated the Fourth Crusade, he had the idea to go through Egypt to invade the Holy Land. His crusaders ultimately sacked the Byzantine Empire during the Siege of Constantinople and established Latin America. Our full size, handmade Crusade Great Helm represents the head protection that would have been worn by these fierce men during this time in the Middle Ages. These helmets are handmade from 18-gauge steel so every piece is guaranteed to be high quality, and real brass plating in the shape of a cross covers the front. This is a worthy addition to any collection.
