The Knights of the Crusade Cuirass Body Armor hails from the medieval 15th century where plate armor was the standard. This style was worn during many battles and provided superior protection. Drawing upon this inspiration, this 18 gauge steel cuirass features a contoured chest and upper and lower sections that overlap each other. The design of this armor is effective in its protective nature with the center contour diverting impact away from the body while the lower skirt tapers away from the armor, thus doing the same. Additionally, adjustable leather straps secure the armor from the top and a horizontal leather strap allows for proper sizing. Whether participating in a Crusade re-enactment or making your medieval ensemble for a costume event, this plate armor is sure to please.
