This striking all cotton costume features a black colored tunic and cloak with a sewn red Calatrava cross, or fleury, on each. The outfit is a fine example of the typical dress of a knight of the order of Calatrava, the first military and religious order founded in the Kingdom of Castile, but the second to receive papal approval.
