This Gladiator Mosaic Helmet made out of pure brass is a collector's dream. Made by Deepeeka, this high quality reproduction has been researched and designed according to the actual ancient helm. Gladiator helmets, such as this one, tended to be showy as well as practical because of what they were used for. Modeled after the typical Thraex helmet, this piece of armor is as protective as it is ornate. Like the typical Thraex helmet, this helm features a tall, protruding crest from the top of the helm's crown that ends in a vaguely avian, bird-like shape, symbolic of the griffin, the animal-companion of the goddess of vengeance, Nemesis.
This helmet is fully wearable and perfect for reenactments, role-playing, costumes, and is a must have for collectors and historical enthusiasts. Due to the hand-made nature of this item, slight differences in size and finish can be expected, making it a truly unique one of a kind collector's piece.
