When engaging in battle, protection for the hand is of the utmost importance. After all, one fatal blow can be your downfall and that is why the Black Hourglass Gauntlets will be of great value. Providing excellent protection for the back of the hand, knuckles, and wrist, these gloves feature mild steel construction with top-grain leather. Starting with a leather glove base, each piece has a short vambrace for the wrist, a rigid and sculpted plate for the back of the hand, and knuckle plates with shiny brass rivets for the fingers. Further enhancement comes from soft, black leather adorning the steel plates and a leather strap around the palm to ensure a secure fit to the hand. With flexible movement and an effective design, these gauntlets are ideal for costumes and re-enactments.
