This handsome and functional gambeson features a strap-and-buckle front closure with open armpits. This provides excellent mobility and ventilation without compromising protection. Handcrafted in heavy-duty cotton canvas and padded with wool, this gambeson also features buffalo leather fittings. As an armor piece, it has excellent blow-absorbing properties and provides superior cut protection to supplement mail or plate armor.
