The Bellows-Faced Sallet is is constructed from 16 gauge steel; the hinged visor can be secured in the down position with a closure hook. The interior of the helm is blackened and is fitted with an adjustable suspension liner of padded cotton and an adjustable leather chin strap with a brass buckle.
