Making a splash during the 15th century, the Sallet Helmet was seen everywhere throughout Europe. Crafted by Deepeeka, the Basic Sallet Helmet is an accurate replica, based on much historical research, with authentic design, nicely reflecting the medieval era. Made from 16 gauge steel, this helmet offers top notch protection for the head, eyes, and neck. Back in the day, it was also often worn with a beaver for throat protection. Though somewhat simple, this is a wonderful addition for any collector or wearer or medieval helmets.
