In the year 1500 A.D, the French Flanders designed the ‘Avon Jupon’. These Flanders are the Dutch speaking community, now located in Belgium. This garment is crafted with pure 100% cotton velvet and creased with satin fabric. The flexible fit of the dress and separable sleeves are a major advantage. This is enabled with the extra set of laces that flow from the length of the wrist to the elbow. The gown holds the tummy and boosts the upper part of the body. This vintage gown can be modified to suit other colors, trends and styles. A typical traditional blouse, without a brassiere is best suited to wear on top of the dress. In order to enhance the look of the sleeves the supplemental cloth of the sleeve can be filled into the top of the sleeve which completes the puffed up look.
