Inspired by Gladiator, the epic movie from Universal Pictures and director Ridley Scott, our Gladiator Arena Helmet is one that would easily find its place in the Roman Colosseum. These types of helmets provided more intimidation than they did protection. They allowed a full visor and protected the head and nose, but one could certainly be affected by a slice or blow to the throat or neck. Made from 18-gauge EN45 steel, our replica has been hand-crafted, paying close attention to detail. It can be worn for costume or reenactment, or it is a handsome display piece that any Roman enthusiast will appreciate.
