This 15th century-style cuirass is a functional suit of armor. It is fabricated in 16 ga. steel and is built to withstand light full-contact sparring at re-enactment events. The breastplate features an integral fauld and joins to the backplate with adjustable leather straps to fit a range of torso sizes. Both the breastplate and backplate measure 24" across, and the entire ensemble weighs 17 lbs. Don't be without this impressive piece of armor the next time you take the battlefield!
