It looks authentic and it is incredibly light and fast to use. The re-enactment cross section of this sclager-style blade is flat, safe, strong and will stand up to common stresses or rapier action. The top has even been rounded to increase the safety level.

The 33-inch blade has been tempered from high carbon steel so it will flex and return to true with no damage. To protect it from the risk of rusting during its transit from where it’s made in Spain, a nickel plating has been added to the blade. Brass wire wraps the hand-turned wood grip to offer better control while plated silver and solid metal have been used on all parts. A scabbard is not available for this piece.
