Heavy duty 16-gauge steel has been used to craft it so it can take a pounding and offer maximum protection.

You can use this shield as soon as you open the box as two 1.5-inch thick genuine leather straps have already been attached. You donŐt have to be concerned with destroying the stunning hand-painted design either because it has been coated in polyurethane to offer protection.

Please allow 7 to 10 days for the Richard the Lionheart Shield to ship as it is hand-painted by one of our talented artists. The shield complies with SCA regulations however, it is your responsibility to be familiar with rules and regulations, which vary from one tournament to another.
