The fleur-de-lis is a decorative symbol that has been used on countless flags and Coats-of-Arms over the centuries. Although primarily associated with French Monarchy, it found itself used throughout Europe.

This battle-ready 16-gauge steel, Fleur-de-Lis Shield complies with SCA regulations and is ideal for tournaments and re-enactments. It has been hand-painted and then generously coated in polyurethane to form a protective seal. It features a pair of 1.5-inch thick genuine leather straps that are already thoughtfully attached so the minute you open the box, it is ready to be used!

Please allow 7 to 10 days for the Fleur-de-Lis Shield to ship as it is hand-painted by one of our talented artists. The shield complies with SCA regulations however, it is your responsibility to be familiar with rules and regulations, which vary from one tournament to another. Please understand that the Tournament Marshall dictates all standards. To protect yourself, never use a shield during combat activity unless SCA officials approve it prior to an event.
