The Oakeshott Type XIV is just a stunning weapon all around. It is simple yet detailed, contemporary yet dated, fierce yet elegant; this is one that every sword connoisseur should have. Made by Windlass Steelcrafts®, this 26.25-inch blade swells just enough at the top to provide enough weight to make it more effective while thrusting. This ensures the user can perform quicker actions. The wood grip has been cloaked in leather for an increased level of comfort and control. A blood groove falls about three-quarters of the way down the blade from the handle. All the furniture is steel, from the downward guard to the round pommel to the throat of the included scabbard.

This handsome weapon has been seen in “Record of the Medieval Sword” by E. Oakeshott. For an additional fee, the blade can be sharpened.
