"300" King Leonidas Helmet
King Leonidas was believed to be the descendent of Hercules, mainly due to his strength and bravery. He was the hero-king of Spartan and noted for his leadership in the Battle of Thermopylae. His strength and determination was certainly captured in Frank Miller’s 300. Designers worked very closely with Miller in the creation of the “300” King Leonidas Helmet to ensure it was made just as he envisioned it. This striking helmet is plated in antiqued brass, and made from steel. For comfort, it has an adjustable leather liner and a crest made from genuine horse hair. The helmet includes a display stand and a certificate of authenticity as being noted as a work of Frank Miller. It measures 19 inches tall and is truly piece that the historical King Leonidas would have been proud to wear himself. How foolish Xerxes was to underestimate this small army of Spartans. Xerxes was ordered to lead an army of soldiers and animals that was so massive, the ground shook as they marched forward. His mission to devour Greece would quickly be interrupted. Made from the finest authentic materials, this incredible helmet is made of steel and plated in antiqued brass, fully lined in leather with an adjustable liner and features a genuine horse hair crest. Includes display stand and certificate of authenticity featuring the stunning work of Frank Miller. The helmet stands an impressive 19” in height, and is truly worthy of having been worn by the historical King Leonidas himself! This item is currently out of stock and on backorder.
