Sword of Bramham Moor
Circa 1408 Named for the final battle in the six-year long Percy Rebellion, the Sword of Bramham Moor is a gorgeous, symbolic weapon that will complement any collection. It was here that the army was met with local Yorkshire noble and levies, led by Sir Thomas Rokeby. This is a sword that any of these brave men would have been proud to use to fight. Made by Windlass Steelcrafts¨, the fully tempered high carbon steel 34-inch blade is diamond in cross section. A shield and cross can be found intricately etched on the steel pommel while leather wraps the grip. Covering this is leather lacing and studs to provide an improved grasp. The scabbard is equally impressive as brass accents adorn the steel tip and throat. A belt has also been included. For an additional fee, the blade can be sharpened. |
