Phillip II 16th Century Suit of Armor
Born 21 May 1527, Philip II was King of Spain, Naples, Sicily, Portugal and even England and Ireland, while he was married to Mary I. He is known for ruling the world’s largest empires, dressing tastefully and acting in a gracious and courteous way. This Philip II 16th Century Suit of Armor has been carefully replicated from an original, which was found in Madrid’s Royal Armoury. Standing 6’7” tall when displayed, smooth polished steel is complemented by detailed floral etchings. To promote realism, it has been fully articulated, and to ensure you will appreciate it for years to come, it is rust-protected. Two ostrich plumes are provided to position in the helmet for the finishing touch. The suit of armor includes an arabesque fabric gown, red velvet sword and an exquisite display stand. To ensure historical accuracy and authenticity, traditional construction has been used on the full-size piece. You must be 18 years of age or older to purchase this item. |
