Standing at 6’7” when mounted on its display stand, the Carlos V Golden Plated Suit of Armor is one of those rare finds that most people only dream of having in their home or office. Forged in Spain by extremely skilled craftsmen, this is certainly one of the most exceptional armors you will even lay eyes on. It has been carefully modeled after those found in Spain within Madrid’s Royal Armoury. The originals are believed to be from the era of Charles I of Spain and Charles V of Germany in the 16th century.

Handcrafted in Spain from authentic materials, steel and iron are painstakingly molded, engraved, finished with old patina and then rust-protected. The armor is generously etched with 24-karat gold throughout. It is also entirely articulated; not one detail has been overlooked. Two ostrich plumes are provided for the helmet and a Carlos V Sword, premium display stand and arabesque fabric gown are also included.

Reinforced metal angles can be found in the solid wood base to provide stability to this full-size piece. Authenticity and historical accuracy have been ensured through traditional construction, to create armor you will be ecstatic to have on display.
