Standing over 6’7” tall when displayed, the Carlos V Etched Suit of Armor is a 16th century replication of the original that was discovered in Madrid inside the Royal Armoury. It has been hand-crafted in Spain, using high quality polished materials, steel and iron are painstakingly molded and then engraved; the period thoughtfully represented by patterns and textiles in the brocades. Delicate etching can be found across the arm and it is fully articulated for the highest level of detail. Two ostrich plumes have been provided to insert in the helmet for a polished look. The piece includes a custom-made premium stand, an arabesque fabric gown and even the Carlos V Sword, the metal has been finished using an old patina and then rust protected to ensure the longevity of your investment. Reinforced metal angles can be found on the premium solid wood base. To ensure historical accuracy, this full-size suit of armor features traditional construction and will quickly become a focal point in your collection.
