Left Hand Deschaux Dagger
Circa 1590 This Left Hand Deschaux Dagger may be deadly, but it is nothing short of elegant in its styling. Commonly referred to as the “Ring Hilt” dagger centuries ago, it was used in dagger swordplay as well as the art of rapier. To allow for easy access, the weapon was commonly worn at the back, tilted towards the left. The parts of the dagger are all steel while bone has been used for the grip. To allow for more control, wire has been thoughtfully wrapped around the bone. Windlass Steelcrafts® has crafted this weapon to pair up nicely with the Three Ringed Deschaux Rapier that we also carry. A scabbard has been included. |
