Medieval Burgonet
Our Medieval Burgonet is just exploding with gorgeous detail from the brass furnishings to the cutout crosses on the bevor. The burgonet helmet came after the “sallet” in the Renaissance Era. It was traditionally accompanied with plate armor, worn by hassars, cuirassiers and demi-lancers, throughout most of Europe in the 16th century. Made from 18-gauge steel, our replica is fully wearable for costume or reenactment, or it can be used as a handsome display piece. It also features a fully articulated falling bevor (buffle), which has flexible lames, so it can be lowered to offer better sight. |
