Our leather backplates are compatible with the Dark Drake, Dark Warrior, Regular Drake, Regular Warrior and King style breastplates. This is a perfect alternative to a steel backplate. While all of those breastplates can be worn without a backplate because they come with leather straps, if you require or prefer a backplate, but do not want a steel backplate then a leather backplate is the best option for you. Our formed leather backplate is made from 8/9 oz buffalo leather and is also lined with another layer of suede on the inside. The edges are reinforced with durable stitching which also looks nice. The backplate features a simple design and shaped shoulder blades for a masculine look. Available in black leather only.

Small Sizing: Chest: 16 Inches (When paired with a compatible breastplate it is adjustable for 29 inch to 36 inch chests), Length from Shoulder to Hip: 18 Inches.
Medium Sizing: Chest: 19 Inches (When paired with a compatible breastplate it is adjustable for 40 inch to 46 inch chests), Length from Shoulder to Hip: 18 Inches.
Large Sizing: Chest: 22 Inches (When paired with a compatible breastplate it is adjustable for 46 inch to 53 inch chests), Length from Shoulder to Hip: 18 Inches.

Keep in mind that if you are wearing a gambeson or heavily padded shirt, to take your measurement while wearing the garment and order by that measurement.
