Most were kept as slaves, trained under unthinkable conditions, housed in filth, socially marginalized and segregated in death. This helmet has been meticulously hand-crafted with an abundance of detail, while keeping historic authenticity. Although many helmets worn by gladiators didn’t provide much protection, the full face on this one would have been considered a blessing.
