The Imperial Italic Centurion Roman Helmet (Red) offers more curved, contemporary lines, like that which the Italians were known for crafting. Centurions suffered significant casualties in war. Although they fought alongside their legionnaires, to enter battle, they typically occupied the front of the iconic century formation. They inspired and led by example, never expecting anyone to do anything they weren’t willing to do themselves. They were easily recognized in war, not only by their exquisite tall helmets, but by their skill that earned them their position in the first place.

Our replica has been superbly crafted from 18-gauge steel and adorned with brass fittings and accents. It is polished to a gorgeous shine, but it is the famous red plume that really steals the show. It is fully wearable for costume or reenactment, or worthy to be displayed in any collection.
