It is believed that Gotiska Forbundet made up the horned helmets in 1811 to promote Norse mythology however, there is argument that such helmets did exist for ritual purposes. Therefore, it is doubtful that this Viking Winged Helmet ever really existed, but that doesn’t stop how popular it has become due to movies and television shows.

Made from 18-gauge EN45 steel, this helmet features an extended neck, cheek guards and a small visor to protect the top of the face and to create an interesting look. This helmet is fully wearable or ideal to place on display.
