Padded Hose-White
From the Middle Ages, well into the 17th century, hose were worn on the lower body by men. They were fitted, some were footed and although a solid color was most common, there were those that wore hose with two different colored legs. Sometimes this was done intentionally, other times, scrap material was used to make them so whatever was available, had to do. Eventually, the term “hose” was weeded out by stocking, breeches and even chausses, if you were French. Our Padded Hose-White will complete the look of your period ensemble for costume or re-enactment. Please note that specifications may vary from one to the next. |
