Medieval Dagger with Crusader Cross
The historic usage and distinctive shape of the dagger have made it both symbolic and iconic. Similar to battle axes, they developed during Neolithic times, made from bone, flint and ivory; some were even discovered in the tomb of Tutankhamen when it was opened in 1934. However, it was the 12th century when the weapon really became popular, referred to as the “knightly dagger.” The Cross of Christendom is found on the handle of this gorgeous Medieval Dagger with Crusader Cross. The 12.5-inch blade has been crafted from carbon steel while brass has been used on the pommel and hand guard. The included black leather scabbard features brass furniture. This blade cannot be sharpened as it is not full battle worthy. Please note that you must be at least 18 years of age or older to purchase this item. |
